ME 212: EDUCATIONAL PLANNING
Timed Test 1: Friday 6th January, 2017: (Time 15:30-16:30 Hours)
INSTRUCTIONS
                i.          Only one question will be attempted from the four alternatives provided.
             ii.          The instructor has discretion and mandate of making his own selection among the given alternatives.

ALTERNATIVE QUESTIONS
1.    Advocacy planning as a model of educational planning diverge from the objective, non-political view of planning obtained in rationalism. Discuss.
2.    It has been argued that “economic planning and development are both offshoots of educational planning, while on the other hand, achievement of educational planning depends on the level of the economy of a nation”. Authenticate the inevitability of this mutualism.
3.    Critically discuss the “Hunter’s Study Approach” in the favour of high-level manpower requirements for the future economic development within the framework of industrialization process in Tanzania.
4.    Educational planning for expansion and increased accessibility for secondary schooling is considered as a social vaccine against HIV infections scourge among adolescents in Sub-Saharan Africa. Discuss.
